Energy& Trading

National electricity and gas traders. We supply the retail companies: the end customer stays yours; behind you we put the commodity, the guarantees and the administrative work.

We do not sell to your customer. We sell to you.

What we do

The scope of the division

We are the upstream supplier: energy and gas for those who sell energy and gas.

The division operates as a national trader: it buys electricity and natural gas on the wholesale markets and supplies them to the retail companies that serve the end customer.

The reseller keeps its own brand, its own contracts and its own portfolio. What stays with us is what sits behind: procurement, price cover, guarantees and the administrative work that usually bottlenecks those who grow fast.

It is the same logic as the other divisions, applied to the commodity: one counterpart for everything the end customer does not see.

What a reseller finds

Three areas, one counterpart

01

The commodity

Electricity and gas from the wholesale markets, with the price formula built on the portfolio profile.

  • Fixed price or indexed
  • Cover over different horizons
  • Profiling on actual consumption
  • Management of imbalance risk
02

Guarantees and credit

It is the part that most often blocks the growth of those who sell. It is dealt with at the start, not when it is needed.

  • Guarantee requirements stated at the outset
  • Assessment of credit standing
  • Terms reviewed as volumes grow
  • No surprise at the end of the month
03

The work that is not seen

Switching, metering flows, invoicing: the time the reseller takes away from selling.

  • Handling of switching paperwork
  • Metering flows and validation
  • Invoicing and reconciliations
  • One counterpart, not a switchboard

How we work together

Four steps, then it runs

01

Portfolio analysis

Volumes, offtake profiles, expiry dates of the contracts in force. They show which formula holds.

02

Offer and guarantees

Price formula, guarantee requirements and commercial terms, set down in writing together.

03

Activation

Framework contract, opening of the operating channels, first switching paperwork.

04

Ongoing operation

Invoicing, flows, reconciliations and a periodic review of the terms as volumes change.
