How it works
The calculation uses the real solar yield of your municipality, taken from the European Commission's PVGIS database. It is not a national average.
Municipality or postcode, consumption in kWh or the monthly bill, available square metres.
Grid-connected or island. Roof orientation and pitch, if you know them.
Recommended size, price, applicable incentive, annual saving and payback time.

The offers

Grid or island
The configurator's first question is about the meter: the answer changes the type of plant and the legal constraints.
The property has an active meter. The plant works with the grid: what you produce and do not consume goes out, what is missing comes in. It is the solution for a house in the city.
No meter, no connection: the plant is sized on the worst month of the year and the battery covers the night. It is the solution for isolated houses, refuges, farm buildings and sites.
If you declare an active meter, the configurator does not offer you an island plant: it is a legal constraint, not a commercial choice.
The configurator's quotation is always indicative and must be confirmed by a site visit. The figure on screen and the figure in the PDF have the same standing: a serious estimate, not a contract.
